I am seventeen years old. I was born in Abilene Texas on June 4,1983. I am a senior at Project Phoenix High school. Some of my hobbies include watching and playing sports, reading, writing and listening to music.
The career field that I am most interested in is hotel and business management. I am currently employed at Holiday Inn Select. I am the P.B.X telephone operator. I also occasionally work in the hotels restraunt and at the front desk. I am in the hospitality program at Project Phoenix. We participated in a job shadow for five months at the Holiday Inn Select. We were in rotations such as front desk, housekeeping, engineering, kitchen, banquets, restraunt, reservations, sales and catering, and accounting.
After highschool, I would like to further my education by going to college and taking the courses needed to obtain a degree in hotel management. I also plan to be employed at a hotel in a higher position. Possibly management.

I am a senior in high school at Project Phoenix. I am currently employed at the Holiday Inn Select. I am the PBX telephone operator. I also have experience working at the front desk, housekeeping department, and in the restraunt. I have been employed here for seven months. Since I started working at the hotel, I have learned many useful skills. I have learned skills such as how to check people in, safety and sanitation skills, how to wait on tables, buss them, take orders, and most importantly, how to exceed the guests expectations
